Having the right people caring for your children has always been a priority for us, as they not only guide development and learning but make the centre a ‘home away from home’.
Karrin Thompson
Hi there, my name is Karrin, and I am the Director at Creative Kids Educare Centre.
I have worked in early childhood for over 15 years and am a mum of 3 beautiful children. Starting as a Casual Educator, I quickly discovered that supporting children from the early years was my passion and that early childhood education was my calling.
Throughout my career I have had the privilege of working in many roles. This hands-on experience has given me a wealth of knowledge, and a deep understanding of all aspects of a childcare centre.
To me, relationships are so important which is why I pride myself on fostering positive, open relationships with children, families and the wider community. I am proud to lead such an incredible team of early childhood educators who I know you – and your little ones – will feel 100% comfortable with.
Our beautiful centre shines brightest when you see it first-hand, so I would love for you to come on in and let me show you around.

Kylie Lawson
Welcome to Creative Kids Educare Centre. My name is Kylie Lawson and I am the Educational Leader/Assistant Director here at the Service. I have been part of the Creative Kids Family for over 15 years and my two children spent their kindy years here too.
I have worked with Toddlers through to pre-prep and as Educational Leader, I am very familiar with all rooms and ages.
I have a passion for language and literature. I love to converse with children and encourage language in all its forms. This is also why I am a 3A practitioner and can teach the Abecedarian Approach Australia to other Educators in the Service. As Educational Leader, I also help to guide, enhance and inspire Educators to provide quality programs and curriculum that deliver positive outcomes for children’s learning.
When I think of Creative Kids, I think of a warm welcoming family environment where children and families want to be. A home away from home.
